A very neat feature, but keep in mind that your url may not contain http:// as
this is regarded as an url to external sources. It has been reported as bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=38843
In PHP 5 the behavior of this functions differs from e.g. 4.3.9. IMHO the rewrite_mod checks if the
var isn't inistialized already:
output_add_rewrite_var(session_name(), session_id());
//tep_href_link is the url manager of osCommerce 2.2
echo '<a href="' . tep_href_link('test.html') . '">Click
here</a>';
echo '<a href="test.html">Click here</a>';
4.3.9 outputs:
<a href="test.html?ATid=e6a...526">Click here</a>
<a href="test.html?ATid=e6a...526">Click here</a>
and 5.0.4. (I see its also using the & as set, just have to set this to a semicolon (;) as
delimiter)
<a href="test.html?ATid=e6a...526&ATid=e6a...526">Click here</a>
<a href="test.html?ATid=e6a...526">Click here</a>
(session_id changed to not to screw up the layout)
It's IMO: this is rather a feature of 4.3.9 than a bug and the manual is a lill' brief in
description (allthough it's not a very complex rewrite).
