I believe that using the case-insensitive boolean (e.g. define("CONST_VAL", 1, false)) doesn't work when trying to use the function constant() -- e.g. <?php $var = "const_val"; echo constant($var); ?> throws an error. Works instead when using strtoupper() on $var. ---- Server IP: 85.116.0.130 Probable Submitter: 80.3.160.5 (proxied: 82.24.119.157) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.define.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/72500 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72500 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/72500 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
