I believe that using the case-insensitive boolean (e.g. define("CONST_VAL", 1, false))
doesn't work when trying to use the function constant() -- e.g.
<?php
$var = "const_val";
echo constant($var);
?>
throws an error. Works instead when using strtoupper() on $var.
