Unless someone teaches coming PHP-Parser generations to keep their hands off XML-Declarations, the most simple way to output those seems to be: <?= '<' . '?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" standalone="yes" ?' . '>' ?> putting short_open_tag = false doesn't solve the problem, because this would prevent you from filling any attribute values in your XML document, e.g. <foo xmlns="http://gartenzwerg.invalid/2007/quux"> <bar xml:pawnfrog="baz" quuux="<?= $_POST['PHP_SELF']?>" /> </foo> ---- Server IP: 212.124.37.9 Probable Submitter: 213.39.161.45 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/72744 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/72744 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/72744 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
