Note Submitter: johnvharris at mindspring dot com ---- Just in case anybody is planning to through all the hassle i have just been through: If you want to use MySQL with PHP (running as a server module as recommended) on Windows/Apache, you'll need php4 and Apache 2.0.29. PHP5 doesn't come with MySQL, and PHP4 cannot be used with Apache 2.2.x. I thought I would get slick and compile my own PHP5, but after installing/upgrading a ton of junk on my machine, the cscript.exe on my system won't run files with a .js extension. I figured that would be a good time to stop.
