Nonsense John.
I just configured PhP 5.2.1 with Apache 2.2 and was able to get MyPHPadmin 2.10 to interface with
MySQL 5.0 databases,
on my second try.
Took some tinkering....
There is a bug somewhere that doesn't allow loading php dll's via phpinidir= into Apache,
but if you move the files to the C:\Windows directory it does. Very strange and random as I can get
some dll's to load from the php directory whilst others(like mysql) won't.
Save yourself the trouble of moving files into the C:\Windows directory and add C:\php to your
environment path as recommended.
I had MySQL 5.0 running and built my userbase/databases BEFORE installing: apache/php/phpmyadmin
Be patient & watch your step.... when in doubt, assume the problem is user error...
