Hi Folks,
I need some help:
this is my code:

if (mail("asdf@hotmail.com","testing Subject","Testing Body.",
"From: asdf@hotmail.com")) { echo "Successful"; } else { echo
"failed"; }
?>
This is my config. in php.ini file:
; For Win32 only.
SMTP = localhost
smtp_port = 80
When I open my php page, it fails with this error:
[error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: mail() [<a
href='function.mail'>function.mail</a>]: Failed to connect to mailserver at
"localhost" port 80, verify your "SMTP" and
"smtp_port" setting in php.ini or use ini_set() in
C:\\Work\\Mysite\\mailAction.php on line 2
localhost:80 on my browser takes me to my project index page. I am wondering if that is the same as
the SMTP server and host.
I would like to run this feature from my local computer. Please Help!
