I am using php to write code for some simple biology applications. However, I have come across a problem that I can not solve. I have a DNA sequemce (i.e. AGTCTGCCCTAG) and I want to replace all the 'A' with 'T', 'G' with 'C', 'C' with 'G', and 'T' with 'A'. In perl I would simply use transliteration. I know a download exists for transliteration in php but the server I use does not support that download. So I am stuck using something like _replace but I can not figure out how. Has anyone out there in the BioPHP world encountered this problem that is will to help? ---- Server IP: 64.71.164.2 Probable Submitter: 71.70.226.217 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.preg-replace.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/77309 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/77309 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/77309 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
