When saving the output of an HTML table as an excel sheet, avoid using double quoted string literals after the attribute 'width', because the excel sheet won't display the table. Example: <?php header("Content-Type: application/vnd.ms-excel"); echo "<table border=1 align=center width=95\"%\">"; echo "<table>"; echo "<tr><td>abc</td><tr>"; echo "<tr><td>xyz</td><tr>"; echo "</table>"; ?> Use "<table border=1 align=center width=95%>" instead. ---- Server IP: 203.199.124.111 Probable Submitter: 202.56.202.14 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.types.string.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/78664 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/78664 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/78664 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
