note 79860 added to ref.tidy

Be aware that if you pass the tidy object directly to create a DOM object, there will be a memory leak! <?php tidy_phrase_string($string); tidy_clean_repair($tidy); $dom = new DOMDocument(); $dom->loadXML($tidy); ?> id wrong ! use $content = tidy_get_output($tidy); and use $content with the dom .
