note 80434 added to function.mssql-connect

I have been using PHP for about 8 months, currently I am working a project using MS SQL2000 (the free version). The ntwdblib.dll version is 2000.80.194.0. PHP Version 5.2.1 The OS is Win2K3 SP1. My problem is some times I get the following message: Warning: mssql_connect() [function.mssql-connect]: Unable to connect to server: {servername} in D:\Sites\Prod\Intranet\include\database.php on line 12 Unable to connect to host willie But if I click the refresh button on the browser it connects and runs fine.
