Note Submitter: lolka_bolka ---- Hi! What i did on: Windows XP Pro SP2 Apache 2.2.6 PHP 5.2.4 MS SQL Express 2005 (9.00.3042.00) php.ini: Using: extension=php_mssql.dll Using: mssql.secure_connection = Off Then i unistalled all of the SQL Express component. Create backups of ntwdblib.dll files. Deleted all the ntwdblib.dll from my machine. Reinstall SQL Express 2005 with SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode, and give a pass to 'sa'. Copy ntwdblib.dll to PHP directory. Then enable TCP/IP from SQL Server Configuration. Right click on this, and enable all IP. (After one day suck on this i enabled every IP, i will filter later wich is the proper). Restart apache and sql server. With SQL Server Management i checked is the sa account make sure the pass is all right. And then i used: $db=mssql_connect ('pakostore\sqlexpress','sa','*******'); where pakostore is my machines name. $db=mssql_connect ('pakostore,1433','sa','*******'); doesn't work for me! I tried to use all recommendation from here, but i think, the key for me was to delete all this ******ing ntwdblib.dll from everywhere and use that, what SQL Express 2005 uses.
