note 83435 added to function.realpath

Having some major trouble here, what I want to do is quite simple, I'm running PHP on Win/IIS, and I have both real and virtual directories set up as follows: / => D:\Projects\PHP\root /Photos/ => E:\Photos I have tried every function listed below (I think!) and I can't seem to get any of them to return the correct values.
