Note Submitter: rich at rdgreen dot eu ---- Having some major trouble here, what I want to do is quite simple, I'm running PHP on Win/IIS, and I have both real and virtual directories set up as follows: / => D:\Projects\PHP\root /Photos/ => E:\Photos I have tried every function listed below (I think!) and I can't seem to get any of them to return the correct values. Any help would be greatly apprectiated - I am somewhat of a PHP novice I also get a similar problem on my Ubuntu/Apache setup: / => /www/rdgreen.eu/subdomains/www/ /Photos => /home/richard/Photos/ in my root dir on the apache machine, I have a symbolic link to the Photos directory, I haven't tried it using the apache location directives or whatnot
