Note Submitter: jonbarnett at gmail dot com ---- To everyone who is posting functions to parse date strings and turn them into time stamps - please look at the strtotime() function. It probably already does whatever you're writing a function to do. To the person right below me: while your function might be an extremely small bit more efficient, strtotime() will work just fine.
