Yes, edit that out (using example.com is acceptable and preferred
under RFC 2606), and surround the whole code block in <?php ?> tags,
please. Felipe and I have been editing many such notes to have the
code properly highlighted.
You may also want to remove the line with the URL from the end.
That individual, among others, has been using the user notes feature
as a means to advertise their third-party website in several sections.
