You're correct, but we ask that you inform us that our stupid
online manual is wrong by utilizing our stupid online bug reporting
system at http://bugs.php.net/.
Because we are all volunteers, and due to the vast size and scope
of the PHP project, we sometimes mistakenly overlook one entire entry
while working on the thousands of others. Unfortunately, user notes
are also often overlooked. However, by reporting a bug in the online
system, your voice is sure to get heard, and you'll really be helping
us to improve the manual.
