<script> tag hasn't been deprecated in HTML as it is in XHTML 1.0/1.1, XHTML Modular and XHTML 2.0 specs. What has been deprecated is the use of the language=CDATA and in our case with PHP the language="php" is the deprecated attribute. It's been replaced with mime type equivalents of type = content-type [CI] The reality is that php doesn't have a solution for this type=content-type [CI] built-into PHP currently. The xml format makes the most sense with regards to moving forward in an xml based world. ---- Server IP: 209.41.74.194 Probable Submitter: 97.114.103.10 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/85200 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85200 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/85200 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
