There's a weird incompatibility in PHP 5.2.6 (pl Gentoo) between $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] on Windows and Linux. On Windows: <code>echo $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; # D:/some/folder/with/last/slash/</code> On Linux: <code>echo $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']; # /some/folder/no/slash</code> So, on Linux, the final slash is NOT appended to the DOCUMENT_ROOT, while on Windows, it is. By default I think it should not be appended (the Linux case). Is this a bug? or a feature? ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 86.121.160.70 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/reserved.variables.server.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/85837 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/85837 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/85837 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
