The documentation for flush() states:
flush() has no effect on the buffering scheme of your webserver or the browser on the client side.
Thus you need to call both ob_flush() and flush() to flush the output buffers.
What it does not state is the order in which the functions should be called. This is the correct
order:
ob_flush();
flush();
These functions do not need to be called repeatedly (as other have stated), merely in the correct
order.
