Great script, works perfectly. I have amended for my own needs to remove the .php file extension
from all files in the directory and found out there's a small bug in the code:
At the start of the funtion $num needs to be set to 1 instead of 0 ($num = 1). Otherwise the
function always returns 0 instead the number of file replacements.
