I tried "Example #2 oci_new_descriptor() example" and I found that line:
$clob->write($data);
should be changed to
$clob->writTemporary($data);
writTemporary() creates new temporary clob.
Example #2 leads to error OCI_INVALID_HANDLE in write() or execute(). Also call close() instead of
free().
