Hello
In Xampp there are two PHP.ini files.
If you add your changes to the wrong one (in the PHP folder) the things happen which you desribe.
If you add your changes to the correct one (in Apache/bin) it will work.
There are also two extension folders: "ext" and "extension".
The "extension" folder is useless. You can delete it.
Why do the Xampp guys do that confusing things???
