I've just found that in PHP version > 5.2.9 flush() stopped working for me.
I used the following at the end of every PHP page to send the page/flush the buffers and as soon as
I upgraded PHP to 5.2.10-5.2.12 all my pages stopped loading at all.
function SendResponse()
{
ob_flush();
flush();
}
After isolating a problem it pointed to flush() call.
If I comment it out everything starts working.
Any thoughts why this happens?
The manual clearly says that this sequence is correct. Maybe php.ini settings should be updated?
PS FreeBSD7, Apache2.2 or 1.3,
output_buffering =on,
zlib.output.compression = on
