this function is on by default and make problem with links in TinyMCE.
It adds an anti-slash double quote ( \" ) at the beginning and at the end of the links so the
browser think it's a relative link (begins by \ ) and the link is broken.
The solution is to set
magic_quotes_gpc = Off
in the /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini file
