Hmm if one wanted to persist an object that had an associated DB connection beign able to preserve
con resource would be extremely useful. Eg if an app user goes into edit mode for a given object
who's properties are stored in a database one could lock rows associated with object properties
and preserve that lock between requests. While one could place a lock with 2 phase transaction there
is no way to do anything usefull with that lock as in perform update without releasing lock first.
