When mysql.trace_mode = On, SELECT FOUND_ROWS() allway returns 0. It looks like a bug.
In detail:
If you have a table with 5 rows and issue:
SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS * FROM table LIMIT 1;
mysql_num_rows() returns 1 as expected.
If you issue "SELECT FOUND_ROWS()" just in sequence, in the same connection resource, it
allways returns 0 rather than expected 5.
Just switch mysql.trace_mode to Off and things will work.
