I kept having trouble with the ftp_put command and it took ages to realise it was because of the
MODE. I had the MODE in a variable and it didn't work that way, I had to put it as either
FTP_ASCII or FTP_BINARY at the end of the ftp_put command.
EG:
DIDN'T WORK:
==============
$FTP_MODE = "FTP_BINARY";
ftp_put($conn_id, '/incomming/myfile', $file, $FTP_MODE);
DID WORK:
==============
ftp_put($conn_id, '/incomming/myfile', $file, FTP_BINARY);
