The last note described how to view all filename extensions in MS Windows - and was right before Windows 7. In Windows 7, you need to go to Start Menu Control Panel Appearance and Personalization Folder Options View Turn on: Display the full path on the title bar (So you know where you are) Hide Extensions for known file types Apply Reset Folders (so applies to all folders) As with earlier Windows, each user must do this separately. (In some cases, you also want to set the option to view hidden files, and not to hide protected files, else some files will hide from you - but sometimes that can get you into trouble, because you might accidentally delete a system file - and you may see some more or less duplicate icons on your desktop. As with earlier windows, it is good to put all windows in Detail mode first, so you see exactly what you are working with in Windows Explorer.) ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.199 Probable Submitter: 69.143.233.28 ---- Manual Page -- http://php.net/manual/en/tutorial.firstpage.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/111756 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/111756 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/111756 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
