Don't ever add the apache user to the root group. Just because in RedHat sending mail does not
work by default with qmail you decrease the security ?
Btw, this can only be RedHat/Qmail configuration idiotism because I've installed PHP and qmail
on a few debian boxes since now and never had to this.
