I had a hard time using Jack's formail.php, mail wouldn't send out , but in the sendmail
logs it showed a status of sent ok. It was sending out as
user@host.domain even after setting the From: in the header.
I had to add the following in my sendmail.cf file :
who I masquerade as (null for no masquerading) (see also $=M)
DMlalug.net
this configures masquerading in sendmail to send out user@domain.
when the message is received it displays the correct "From:" address in the email, but if
you view the headers you can see the user@domain
address.
