I recently recieved an email from a person asking how to secure passwords from being shown so I
might as well share this info with all.
First, remove the passwords from your page source and replace them with varables. Then open a new
file and declare the varibles with the password and username for your database. Then use
"require("incfile.inc");" to include the passwords. You could use include, but
require stops processing if the file is not found and you won't see a bunch of random output
and database errors. For extra security, you may want to place the inc file outside of the document
root. Hope this helps secure your site.
