The code in Example 2 won't work, because the function replaces all non-alphanumeric
characters, i.e. 'sales and marketing/Miami' will be encoded to
'sales%20and%20marketing%2FMiami', where %20 is fine, but %2F makes it unusable.
I used str_replace(" ","%20",$path) instead to allow " " in path.
