Giving a string like this to a conditional statement:
@ NS dns.server.tst.
with this syntax :
if ( (stristr($buffer, "@")) && (stristr($buffer, "NS")) )
would match but :
if ( (stristr($buffer, "NS")) && (stristr($buffer, "@")) )
would NOT .
So be careful to the "one passing" order that STRISTR use on the same statement.
