Hi,
don't know why, but the install script didn't notice my sendmail wrapper(qmail) and
disabled the mail() function, I had to hardcode the sendmail_path in /ext/standard/mail.c
Hope it helps some people... I struggled for hours, testing, browsing, no one ever really solved it,
all resolutions didn't help out...
Hardcoding it solved my problem...
