note 22381 added to function.ftp-connect

I'm running apache with php on a windows machine. When I do phpinfo() I see a header ftp. He says that ftp support is enabled, but if I use ftp_connect I get this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ftp_connect() How can I fix this?
