My Setup: Windows XP, Apache 2.0.39, PHP 4.2.2 dev
My Problem: My htdocs are only displayed if I am connected to my LAN.
My Question: Is it possible to use Apache when I am not connected to the
network or internet?

My thoughts:
When you do ipconfig with no network cable attached then you get no network info 'cos micro$oft
thought that this would be good. This has caused me probs in the past. So try this in XP:
Go to control panel and add new hardware say that you have already installed whatever and click add
new hardware and then network adapter and the only option you should get is the loopback adapter,
install this and give it an IP. Maybe this will work who knows!
Hope it does :>
