note 23191 deleted from language.variables.predefined by dams

I wanted to do this: extract($_GET,EXTR_OVERWRITE); but it didn't seem to work. I finally realised the problem was that I was calling extract inside a function and all the variable were being put into the symbol table at LOCAL scope. I simply put the contents of the function inside a new php file and replaced all the calls to the function with a include_once "extract.php"; This solved it
