Took me hours of reading, since I got a
"[error] Cannot remove module mod_php4.c: not found in module list"
in the Apache error log. I tried the official suggestion of "AddModule mod_php4.c" in the
'after-"ClearModuleList"-list' in httpd.conf. This would not work.
Instead I found a hint above and added the following three lines right AFTER the
'after-"ClearModuleList"-list'
LoadModule php4_module <PATH TO PHP4>/php4/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddModule mod_php4.c
And finally the test script works.
