The "Mail functions" link goes directly to the ONLY mail function: mail(). How about some other mail related functions? Such as a function to read a users inbox on the server and parse the messages and headers out in some reasonable way. This would make it possible to make browser based mail clients w/o a big hassle. Such server side, browser based clients are common now... hotmail, yahoo, ....
