I ran into weird non-cross platform behavior. I used to (on unix server) include a file with a
class definition in it, then define a class that extends that, and it worked. On windows it did not
work but did not give me an error until I tried to instantiate the extending class.
If I made a wrapper file that included the file with the base class definition, then included the
file with the extending class definition, then it worked.
