Your sockets DSO isn't loaded. To load your sockets DSO use: <?php @dl("php_sockets.so"); @dl("extensions/php_sockets.so"); @dl("php_sockets.dll"); @dl("extensions/php_sockets.dll"); ?> This will load your sockets DSO regardless of OS (Unix/Win32/Mac, ...) and will even load if your admin forgot to change your extensions path from "." to "./extensions". :-) -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.socket-create-listen.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+25779 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+25779 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+25779
