note 26137 added to function.mssql-connect

I have following code: <? error_reporting(7); $hCon = mssql_connect ( $ip,$user, $password ); if (!$hCon) { // redirection } ?> Purpose is to redirect connection when it fails. But when I simulate the database is down by changing the user or password I get following warning: Warning: Sybase error: Login failed for user 'user'. (severity 14) in /home/passenger/www/testconnect.php on line 6 and there the executing of the script is stopped, so it never comes to redirection.
