Is there any way of doing asynchronous address -> hostname lookups with PHP? I need to lookup
between 10 and 100 IP addresses on a single page, but I don't want the page to take longer than
10 seconds to load. If I could launch all the DNS lookup requests at once, I'd be able to get
the vast majority back within the 10 seconds.
(There is no point in doing some sort of cache between page requests since the addresses change
rapidly, and I don't want to switch on the Apache HostNameLookups for performance reasons).
