What may not be obvious to a newbie at building php (eg me) is that it's both OK, and expected,
to perform the ./configure + make + make install cycle more than once.
For instance (w. php 4.2.3), if you want to have both CLI support and a shared module for Apache,
you will need to build php with the --enable-cli option and then do it all again for the apache
config you desire.
One of those things that is only obvious in retrospect. ;-)
