I have to agree with the last comment... Just testing imagecopyresampled on an old laptop
(pII/300/win32/apache 1.3.20/php4.06/gd 2.01), I notice a very slight decrease in speed vs.
imagecopyresized, but not enough to deter me from using it, and certainly nothing like 11.2 seconds.
And the quality more than makes up for the speed reduction, anyway. If I can barely notice it on
this old machine with photoshop and homesite running at the same time... what's not to love?
