I almost smashed my keyboard when i found out
Setcookie() + Header(Location: )
were working allright on localhost, but not on a webserver :D
The quick correct way :
setcookie("Cookiename",$cookie_content, "time()+3600"); /* expire in 1 hour */
header("Refresh: 0;url=$redirect_url");
$maintext="Wait a sec plz. Logging in...";
Make sure you give the user a message to wait. it could be confusing for them.
