I've installed Apache 2.0.39 and PHP 4.2.2 on Win2k and had the same problems like the most of
you.
But I had another one, too...
It semeed to run with the new php4apache2.dll, but I had no standard-installation of Windows at
c:\winnt, but d:\winnt - and PHP didn't find my php.ini.
I tried a lot - faking c:\winnt etc. - but finally I had to copy php4ts.lib to the LIB directory of
Apache 2. Now my Settings take effect.
I hope this will help others...
