Umm...I should point out that I'm using Apache2 (2.0.43) with PHP4 (php4-STABLE-200301271630)
as a module (on Red Hat 7.3). It's working just fine for me, along with all the above
directives. I think it's important to qualify your statements and include the versions (of
php, server, and OS) you are using. Too often bugs are fixed in subsequent versions, but people
reading old notes don't realize it.
