Attempting to build php 4.3.0 against apache 1.3.27 with zlib, etc., I came across some make errors.
make was complaining about missing files... zend_config.h, tsrm_config.h and php_config.h... with
some complaints about zlib as well
After digging around the configure script, I discovered that these files are created by running
./config.status after the ./configure
I haven't found any documentation on running config.status before... not sure if this is a bug
or what.
There is a very minor bug in the config.status script, though... at the end of the script, I got the
following message:
./config.status: 6: Bad file descriptor
./config.status: 6: Bad file descriptor
Not to worry on that one, though... its the result of these two lines:
echo """" 1>&6
echo """ESC[1mThank you for using PHP.ESC[m" 1>&6
linux just doesn't like 6 as a target for redirect.
